Adult education

The parents saw their children being educated and the potentially benefits and wanted to learn to read and write themselves. Now the women meet regularly to pray and to receive education that they were denied as youngsters. Once the mother can read and write they will pass these skills onto their children.

Teacher training
Most teaching in Pakistan is by memorising the syllabus books without understanding or questioning their contents. We want out pupils to have the best teaching we can give them so we have just started (2009) training weekends for our teachers to encourage questioning and to stir their imaginations.
